The Advanced Institute of Manufacturing with High-tech Innovations (AIM-HI) is a primary research unit under the CCU’s organizational structure. The main goal is to integrate and establish interdisciplinary research teams that encompass various faculties, including engineering, science, management, humanities, and social sciences, build upon the existing strong foundation of advanced manufacturing. The core research centers within this unit include:
- Advanced Machine Tools Center
- Research Center For Precision Molding
- Leading Edge Processing Rolling and Forging Technology Research Center
- Big Data Technology Research Center
Additionally, AIM-HI Integrates the research capabilities in the CCU, such as:
- System on Chips Research Center
- Elegant Power Application Research Center
- Research Center on Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability
These collaborations focus on the development of key technological fields such as:
- Electric Vehicle Transmission System and Autonomous Vehicles
- Digital healthcare Materials
- Semiconductor Manufacturing Process
- Low Carbon Manufacturing
For administrative operations, AIM-HI maintains strong communication and collaboration with the CCU’s Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Research and Development, Office of International Affairs, and Office of Student Affairs. AIM-HI works together with these offices to promote talent cultivation, academic research, international cooperation, and social contributions. Initiatives include the creation of specialized programs, the establishment of technical validation fields, promotion of international exchanges, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
