The core full-time and joint research team of AIM-HI consists of approximately 37members, encompassing faculty and researchers from related departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Computer Science. AIM-HI's primary research efforts are focused on five key areas: Electric Vehicle Transmission System, Digital healthcare Materials, Semiconductor Manufacturing Process, Low Carbon Manufacturing, and Industrial cyber security. These areas are dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and technological innovation:

• Electric Vehicle Transmission System: Led by Professor Tsai, Chung-Yu, the team focuses on gear design, manufacturing, and CNC machine mechanism design.
• Digital healthcare Materials: Led by Professor Yau, Hong-Tzong, specializing in 3D measurement and computer-aided design.
• Semiconductor Manufacturing Process: Led by Professor Liu, De-Shin, his research focused on electronic simulation, impact mechanics, and computational mechanics.
• Low Carbon Manufacturing: Led by Professor Chang, Wen-Kung, committed to power systems and renewable energy research.
• Industrial cyber security (Core Technologies): Led by Professor Lin, Po-Ching, focusing on network security, computer vision, and performance analysis.

In addition, AIM-HI employs three full-time assistant researchers to support the technical development efforts across the four major research domains.
